About Lynette.
With over 25 years experience, Lynette, originally from Scotland, began her career training in the Balmoral House in Edinburgh. Having then travelled the world to advance her skills, Lynette brings her vast experience and love of good food to the Crown Hotel. Carlisle based Lynette joined the team in February 2022 and was keen to bring back some of her favourite staple dishes, done well.

New Menus at The Crown.
'Our new Autumn/ Winter menu is being launched on 12th October and I have included some of my all time favourites, which I am very excited about.'

To start:
Lobster and Crab Ravioli, Lemongrass and Chilli Velouté
or
Moules Mariniere (GF opt), Cream, Garlic, Shallots, Pancetta and Crusty Bread
Mains:
Slow Roast Lamb Shank, Chorizo and Red Wine Sauce, with Creamy Mash Potatoes and Roasted Vegetables
or
Coq-Au-Vin, Free Range Chicken on the bone, Mushrooms, Celeriac Puree
To finish:
Panettone Bread and Butter Pudding, Orange and Cointreau Crème Anglaise
or
Chocolate Tart, Chocolate Caviar, Black Cherry and Cognac Jelly
