Pricing

All prices are per room in Pounds and include VAT at the current rate. Prices are subject to change without notice; we reserve the right to alter your rate should a mistake be identified.


Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors and reserve the right to amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time.


Prices shown on-line are not valid in conjunction with any other offer and until you receive your confirmation number are subject to change without prior notice.


Accommodation Offers

From time to time Crown Hotel Wetheral will offer special accommodation offers. The offers are subject to availability, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and are limited to stays within the stated dates. All accommodation offers are only available on new bookings and on a very limited amount of bedrooms.


Gift Vouchers 

Vouchers should be presented to reception on arrival. All vouchers are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable. No refund of money will be made once voucher has been purchased. No photocopies will be accepted. Gift vouchers cannot be used to pay for weddings or corporate functions.


Children

Children 12 years and under, sharing a room with at least 1 full paying adult can be added at the time of booking to a suitably allocated bedrooms; family room or suite. There will be an additional supplement for children to include breakfast. Dinner is not included for children when booking a dinner bed and breakfast rate. 


Dogs

We have a number of dog friendly rooms which can be added at the time of booking, at an additional charge. Maximum of 2 dogs per room. We ask you to keep your dog on a lead at all times. Walton's Bar & Eatery is our dog friendly dining area. No dogs can be left in the room unsupervised.


Rate Plans

Advanced Purchase Pre-Payments

Advance Purchase rates require full non-refundable, non-transferable payment at time of booking. Amendments are not permitted and any cancellations will be charged at the full total cost.


Rack Rates

Rack rates require a valid credit or debit card to secure the booking. Cancellations or amendments must be made more than 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid fees. Cancellations less than 48 hours prior to arrival will be charged in full.


Deposits

If your booking requires a deposit, this will be a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit at the time of booking. 


Cancellations

In the rare event that we have to change or cancel your reservation, we reserve the right to do so. However, you have the right to: accept the changed arrangements as notified; or cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any monies which you have paid to us in respect of your reservation (please note that we shall not be liable for any sums which you have paid to any other persons/parties in connection with your reservation).


Car Parking

Car parking is free and on a first come first serve basis. We cannot be held responsible for any damage whilst your car is parked at the hotel.


Check in / Check out

Full payment is due on arrival for your accommodation package. Any extras will be presented to you on check out for payment, should you have any queries regarding charges on your account, our Reception team will be happy to assist prior to departure. Hotel rooms are available from 3:00pm on the day of arrival. Check out on the day of departure is 11.00am. Early check in / late check out can be pre-arranged for an additional charge.


Meals

Bed and breakfast rates include full English & continental breakfast. Dinner bed and breakfast rates include a 3 course dinner in the stated restaurant on your booking. There is no refund for any meals not taken during your stay.


Damages

Any damage incurred by you or your party during your visit or stay in the hotel is chargeable. Any cleaning, maintenance, or professional service fees will be transferred to the lead booker. Damaged fabrics, textiles or other décor items will be charged to replace if damaged as well as any other applicable charges.

Guests will be notified of the charges, and said charges will be applied to the credit card which was used to pay for the bedroom. Further charges may apply if any additional complications arise which are directly linked to the damage caused.


Riverside Fitness

Please check full opening times, terms and conditions of Riverside Fitness on our website. Any guests receive access to this facility from check in until check out. 


Special Requirements & Requests

Please advise us of any special dietary needs or requirements, e.g. mobility issues, you may have prior to arrival. We do not have a lift at the hotel so this information is vital for us to allocate a suitable bedroom.

Whilst every effort is made to fulfil any special requests unfortunately, we cannot guarantee these until arrival.


Special Occasions

We host and offer packages for every special occasion from weddings, anniversaries and more. Our events team can assist with any requests and would be happy to assist with your event. Our dedicated teams will ensure your plans run smoothly and do not conflict with any other special occasion taking place at the hotel. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation which conflicts with hotel operations should we be unaware of your plans and deem them to be conflicting with our planned business. E.g. we have a strict 'one wedding policy'.

Any positive comments or complaints, please contact the duty manager to let us know. We wish to resolve any issues you may have during your stay. Should you feel your complaint is unresolved, please contact our General Manager in writing.

We would never loan or sell your personal details to any third parties without your prior consent and will comply with all data protection legislation in force from time to time with regard to the treatment of any data it collects using the website. General Information

While we try our best to ensure that all information about the Hotel, facilities and events are accurate we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. Please do remember that facilities and offerings may alter from time to time and we cannot be held responsible for any changes that occur or any errors in the information given. The Crown Hotel cannot be held responsible for any 3rd party suppliers.


These Terms and Conditions are subject to English Law and any dispute in relation to them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
