In the spirit of 2023 and the phrase 'New Year, New Me' we all hear so often, The Crown's Team have decided to take this opportunity to get healthy and lose some excess Christmas lbs whilst raising money for a brilliant local charity, Eden Valley Hospice & Jigsaw Cumbria's Children's Hospice.

Throughout January, for every lb lost within the Crown team, the hotel will give pound for pound, and then double it! All given to this wonderful local chosen charity. Leading the weight loss team is our very own general manager Chris McLaughlin who has set himself some huge weight loss targets!

A spin bike will be available in the hotel throughout January to boost the team in their weight loss, along with advice from Riverside Fitness manager Debby.

Inspired by New Year fitness aspirations, The Crown is also offering a 'good or bad menu' with some tasty healthy options on the good menu such as a nutritious superfood salad, as well as some not so good options on the bad menu including a tasty bacon cheeseburger & fries. Which will you choose?
