2022 - Time to reflect on what we have achieved

What a year 2022 has been! 


Here’s just some of our favourite things that we have achieved over this year.


1. Completed a full refurbishment of (all) bedrooms and many of our public areas 


2. Relaunched our menus, invested in our kitchen team & received our best dining feedback yet


3. Put together our Eco pledge with significant investment being made to ensure the hotel focuses on sustainable practices 


4. Won Best Luxury Hotel of the Year in Cumbria 🏆 


5. Launched a new staff retention and incentive scheme


6. Commenced our next refurbishment programme, of the cottages adjacent to the hotel, a new exciting project which will be complete in Spring 2023.

Incredible, from start to finish. The Crown really did out-do themselves for our special day. Also the bar staff for making incredible cocktails.

We can't thank The Crown team enough for making our wedding day so special. We loved every second of our special day. Everything ran so smoothly, from morning to night, it was just perfect. All of our guests commented on how it was such a beautiful setting, and how lovely the gardens were for our wedding photos. Nothing was any trouble to any of the team, and we felt very relaxed on the day as we knew everything was taken care of. We would 100% recommend The Crown as a wedding venue.
